Totals and budgets are in this currency. Each expense keeps what you typed and its own day's rate. Changing it comes with sign-in, when the app has every day's exchange rates.

During a trip, Add offers the trip's currency and a switch named after the trip (for example "Part of Lisbon trip"), on while the trip is running at the moment you save. Turn it off for things like rent. Recurring expenses are never part of a trip unless you say so.
